John Bennett Billiards Ltd
John Bennett (Billiards) Ltd was incorporated in 2005.
John Bennett was founded in 1821, and based at 35 Surrey Street, Strand until fire destroyed the building in 1898. After the fire the business moved to Vincent Square, London SW1, although it did not stay there very long. Soon after the turn of the century, the company moved to 120 Newington Causeway, London SE1, where tables continued to be made until fire again destroyed the building in 1941, during a fire bomb raid in World War II. In 1967, the company moved to their most memorable address in the Old Kent Road, until the company was taken over by Rileys in the late 1970's, and the name disappeared. Following it's incorporation, the company is now trading from premises in Kent.
